    Presentation :
    In the heart of Savoie, and especially the Maurienne Valley, its majestic mountains, its legendary cols (Madeleine, Glandon, Croix de Fer, Télégraphe and the Grand Galibier) all within a radius of less than 30 km.

    At the entrance to the Vanoise National Park, Les Karellis area enjoys a privileged situation with an incredible number of walks (Croix d'Albiez, Grande Chible, Col and Mount Emy...) and, thanks to car-pooling, just 20 mins from, the entrance to the National Park (Lake of la Partie, Orgère and Polset Valleys) and the Grand Perron des Encombres and its Ibex reserve...

    Finally, in terms of Heritage sites, Karellis is situated on the Baroque Routes and offers visits to Baroque Churches (Montricher & Albanne), both barely 45 mins walk away. There is also a large choice of museums, with Montricher eco-museum, the Opinel museum (knives) and Mont Corbier museum (a local drink) in Saint Jean de Maurienne and the Espace Alu (aluminium museum) in Saint Michel de Maurienne.

    And, let us not forget that we are in one of the most famous regions for cheese (Bleu de Termignon, Beaufort, Tomme de Savoie), cold meats and other delightful sounding specialities (Tartiflette, Raclette, Croziflette).
